Manufacturer’s Warranty

It is necessary for the owner of the car to provide an original warranty from the car manufacturer on the date that you visit an ECU Remapping UK Performance Centre. The ECU Remapping warranty will be considered in force until the manufacturer’s warranty is no longer active.

What The Warranty Protects

The warranty protects the customer against damage to the vehicle arising directly from electrical or mechanical breakdown of the ECU Remapping product as installed by one of our qualified technicians.

Warranty Period

Typically, the warranty will cover you for a period of 12 months, until you have driven 30,000 miles, or until the manufacturer’s warranty expires; whichever is the shorter of the three. However, there is the option to extend the warranty up to the end of the manufacturer’s warranty – details of this service are available on request.

Car Maintenance

Good general maintenance of your car is important to ensure not only that the vehicle is kept in running order but also to ensure that the remapping continues to perform. As such, it is a part of the ECU Remapping UK warranty that the vehicle owner must observe the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance procedures. A failure to meet these recommendations will result in any claims to ECU Remapping UK being invalidated.

Restrictions

Use of the remapped vehicle on track days, competitions, pacemaking, or rallying are excluded unless expressly granted by an authorised installer and all claims are subject to a £10,000 maximum limit for any one individual vehicle.
